A Great Love Story. I so enjoy Ms. Jordan's love stories. She is a wonderful story teller and makes her characters come to life and you become consumed with them. I love Brent and Claire but wonder if their insecurities will damage the feelings they have for one another. When they decide to go the reunion Claire starts feeling insecure again. Doe Brent love her does, he want her so she pushes him away telling him they are taking things to fast. Brent becomes hurt by this but figures maybe they both need more time and space. When Brent tells her maybe she is right and his apartment will done tomorrow she becomes hurt. When Claire comes home the next evening the house key is on the table and Brent is gone. Will this be the end of them? Read the complete set to find out. A very moving and heartfelt story.Product details

Who doesn't have those fantasies where your first love comes back into your life? I hope this story builds into something more than the typical erotica. The characters do have my attention. Describe more about them and how they are feeling and what it is like when they are together.
Good friends in high school who were too shy to admit their feelings for each other meet again after each moves to NYC. Claire has blossomed and Brent has a chiseled body from being in the Navy. Immediately drawn to each other, they get down and dirty spicing their trysts with some light bondage. Well written hot read.
I'm sure the hardest thing for a writer to accomplish is to immediately capture the reader's interest in such a short period of time. Well, Ms. Jordan certainly succeeded. I can't recall reading a short story where I liked the H/h as much as I did with Brent/Claire. It's a joy to read about really nice people for a change. The only problem I had with this story was seeing both of them making the same mistake they made 10 yrs ago. Neither willing to tell the other how they feel about each other. It seems somewhat unrealistic.
Brent wants to only help his friend Claire get through a hard time, but soon finds himself comforting her with his body. Can they go back to just being friends or have they stepped over a line that may prevent them from ever going back.
Lots of errors to the point of distraction. Too many descriptive words like, " his back curved in a question mark" why not simply state his back curved into her. I was distracted here by trying to picture the " question mark. Do not put so many descriptive words in the sex scenes. Some of the writing has great potential. I would love to see this author evolve further to perfect her craft.
Loved this book just like all the books of Lucia Jordan that I have read. Couldn't put it down till I was done reading it. Very good characters and story line to boot. Sound like some of the people I went to high school with. Can't wait to read more and finish the story to find out what happens between Brent and Claire. Will they fulfill their promise that was made years ago or have their lives changed to much? Have they changed to much for each other? Will Brent mend her broken heart? Or will he break it even further?
Really loved these two stories, though they were very short. I think they did have a good flow as well. I could also see couples having the same questions/concerns as the 2 main characters. I liked that there was a lot of their thoughts being shared with the reader in showing how anxious and uncertain they are and have always been. Overall good stories. I couldn't give it 5 stars as I didn't feel as much of a connection with these characters; that may be due to the length. You can't really develop that type of bond without having more in depth feelings shared. I think that would come with more time, trials and interactions. I didn't catch any grammatical errors or issues either that sometimes make it hard to get through some author's books. Thank you for this enjoyable short read.
