Fun With Visualization is a great book to help accelerate the achievement of your goals. It is a 30 day program in which you do exercises every day to visualize the achievement of your goals. While many of the daily exercises are the same, this is actually valuable in that it helps your mind bring in the same pictures day by day and therefore imprint them more strongly in your subconscious mind. In going through the 30 day program, I found that my goals seemed increasingly more real. By the end of the 30 days, I had much more a sense of not just believing but knowing I would attain my goals. I believe this is a great addition to one's success library.
Follow this 30-day guide and you will see amazing changes in your life. Your dreams will become more clear and the path to achieving your goals will seem to unfold magically in front of you. I highly recommend this for everyone with a goal but especially those who feel that achieving it is overwhelming. This process makes the journey as fun as the destination. Whether it's the end of the month, end of the quarter, or end of the year, get this before you start your next time of planning and goal setting to make it fun!
The power of this little book is surprising. I visualized on and off for years, but after reading this book I started again and the results were surprising. It's part book and part workbook, so it really draws you in and engages you, so you really get to the "heart of the matter" as they say. I've always wondered why ALL world class, collegiate and other athletes used visualization yet it never trickled down to the rest of us. This book doesn't answer that question, but it does answer the question "why do world class performers do it?" because it works and it's relaxing and fun. I strongly recommend this for coaches and teachers, but really for anyone who's looking for a relaxing energizing way to get closer to what you want in life. This is handy little guidebook for getting you there.
This book is such an easy read and the program is so simple to implement! It's just a matter of doing it! As for me, I have performance/test anxiety and was participating in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is a well known program used by therapists across the country. It helps you accept emotions and allows you to see your thoughts in a way that doesn't let them have a negative impact on you. Though ACT is good, it doesn't address including the positive! FUN With Visualization IS the right path to take for any goals - whether it's addressing certain problems, or changing your overall outlook! Using the STOP, DROP and ROLL practice has already helped me focus on the positive in just a matter of days! Thanks Starr! Keep working on your next book! You are an inspiration! Joanne
I finished this program in early November 2013. Within 2 weeks I experienced an avalanche of success that is still happening as I write this. This is not just a book, it is a program that walks you, step by step, through a unique visualization process that is definitely fun and definitely out of the box. If you are looking for something totally different and incredibly effective buy this book. I created a daily mind routing from this book that I use every day and which keeps me focused on success. It brainwashed me into believing in myself and now things are happening so fast that I feel like I am watching someone else's life, which ironically, is the life this book helped me create in my mind. If the author was smart they wouldn't list a price for the book and just ask readers to send them what they think it's worth. They would definitely make a lot more money.
